Abstract

The revelation of different concepts in the literary creations is the prime responsibility of researchers. The writers in their creations incorporate lots of points and themes whose detecting again is left to the researchers in the field. In this article, care has been taken to reveal the psychologically mental illnesses as well as physically mental illnesses in Pinters The Caretaker. It is pinpointed how the playwright has delicately characterized characters with special mental illnesses originating from different sources respectively. The dramatist’s tact in highlighting the special behavior, theme, and mainly setting would reveal his special tact on the line of showing some special problems of the characters in his work to be projected upon the reader and the viewer.
