The relationship between positive psychological characteristics or health anxiety among middle-aged people
Abstract
Health anxiety is known as one of the branches of anxiety with an individual mental occupation with a serious illness and without medical evidence. Considering the role of positive excitements in well – being of psychological and physical, the present study, is intended to investigate the relationship between positive psychology characteristics with health anxiety among middle - aged people. The method of this study is correlation and the society of it, is middle - aged people with the age range of 38 to 48 in Zanjan, where an accidental cluster sampling method has a number of 225 subjects. Two questionnaires were used to collect data from positive psychologys and health anxietys characteristics. The results showed that the correlation coefficient between health anxiety with pleasant life is -0.14 % with a commitment life is - 20 % and with meaningful life is - 40 %, all three levels are less meaningful than 0.05 % .Therefore, it can be concluded that whatever peoples life have positive psychology characteristics, health anxiety is less in them, in which meaningful life have the highest correlation.
